Jared and Curse of the hand-me-downs...

I was on all 4's this morning mopping the floors-(so i told the kids as if i really will follow through with it) "FROM NOW ON, WE WEAR HOUSE SHOES OR SOCKS IN OUR HOUSE!"

Someday, Jared will have something BOYish.
(this might be one of those pics and moments that we talk about the night he goes to Prom)

cousins.

Growing Pains.

Our kids are growing like weeds. Here is their growth from MARCH to AUGUST-I was in shock at how much they had grown! Cassity has completely outgrown ALL of her summer shoes-so Fall can NOT come quick enough for me....right now she is wearing flip flops with EVERYTHING-even her Sunday Best! Jared is outgrowing his summer clothes-mostly the shorts--I guess I should buckle up and enjoy the bumpy ride of dressing my OFF THE CHARTS children....

Preschool Open House

Cassity and I went to her Preschool Open House tonight.
She is in the Lions Class and her teacher is Ms. Debbie.

(Ms Debbie made all the kids a snack bag-so cass helped herself to the apple.)

mostly jared-some cassity

Tonight, Cass and I went to HDCV at our church-which is a fun time of worship for kids and their families...Cass got one of these glow in the dark light sticks and was challenged to "LET HER LIGHT SHINE!"

I caught Jared playing with his sister's purses-he also was thrilled to pose for this pic-should we be worried?

Jared has also had many successful attempts-HERE IS HOPING!
Also here is how he insists on wearing his shirts while he goes potty-what is funny is that my sister Rebekah did this EXACT same thing when she was little...heck, for all I know she may still!?

We had a family fun night at church at a local bowling place...
Cass LOVES to bowl. Hmmm...Cass loves to bowl and Jared loves purses.....I'm just saying...

Adam got a chance to got to a CUBS game up in Chicago...and he found Jared's brick along a sidewalk at Wrigley we had made for him when he was born.....cool huh?
