give thanksgiving a chance.

well folks. its almost halloween and you know what that means? TIME TO PUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE UP! -no lie. as we speak Cassity is watching "A CHRISTMAS STORY" she is just like me in that when the weather turns slightly cooler...its time to start thinkin about christmas.
whats funny about me is that the day after christmas i am totally over it and ready to take the tree down....
i say you live once and if i want to be in the christmas spirit in mid september..i am allowed to.
so there.

this year will start something new to all of us...a tradition of our own family christmas and traditions..for both adam and i we grew up close enough to see both sides of our families all at once...so a christmas without moms and dads -brothers and sisters- cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents will be something new for us. its sad but really exciting too!

my friend jenni always tries to challenge me to give thanksgiving a chance-i have tried...i will continue to try.....but i promise the tree will be up that night so help me!

adam took my camera back to best buy and they are sending it off to have it fixed....i am going through camera withdraw---i hope it doesnt take very long.....
ugh.

i will be cleaning my house tomorrow and taking a test for my business communications class...

dealin with you..

cass and i got in our first mother/daughter argument tonight. tomorrow morning-we have church. its suppose to be in 50s-60s in the morning...she wants to wear a sun dress...i say no. i told her that she would wear what i picked out and that if she didnt-that she could just stay at home by herself (yes i am a harsh-but it works so well...dont judge me.)
she said in all seriousness.."well i AM going and i AM wearing this dress" and i said "well you are 3 and i am the mom and you do what i say" ......she looked right into my eyes and said "WELL I AM NOT DEALIN WITH YOU TONIGHT"
i tried not to laugh.
i told her fine-that we would talk about it tomorrow....

but seriously.

what kid says that?

in other news-i passed my class with a whoppin 86% in my first class-a first ever for me. lets face it i am a C if not D student....

Jared likes to tell me no. or maybe its just his word of choice..none the less -its getting old. he is sooooo stinkin cute tho-he has me wrapped around his finger.

Cass LOVES preschool-she is doing well! she has memorized Genisus 1:1 "IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH"

so cute.

we are trying to get plugged in at our new church-we teach our first sunday school class tomorrow..i have my lesson all planned out...

Adam is busy working..the cubs are doing well...so he is happy-the boilermakers won another one today--so really-all is well in the galema home...other than its a mess....anyone feel like cleaning my house for me? ill french braid your hair for you!?

anywho...adam got me a fountain drink at GAS AMERICA....its a date.
