throw me a stinkin bone..

gosh. time sure gets away from me. We are at the end of January ALREADY!

School is back in session for me-I am taking BUSINESS MATH-God help me. Let's just say that math is not one of my spiritual gifts....thank the Lord for Adam-and his patience.

Cassity took a fall at a friend's house and cut her mouth/gums/teeth pretty badly. She is a trooper and everything seems to be healing quickly...she is a trooper for sure! Cass is also our little theology buff..
She has a kids Bible that she almost knows all the stories to, she has lots of questions about Heaven and Jesus-she is keeping us on our toes for sure! I am so thrilled that she has such curiosity about God's Word!

Jared is spitting out a new word almost everyday! He is a little monkey! When he isn't climbing on the dishwasher or in our kitchen drawers, you can find him sitting ontop of the table or playing with the toilet plunger. GEESH! He is really into watching Dora and looking at books! He had his first bowl of cereal the other day and did great with it! My baby is a toddler....

Adam is on cloud 9 as his boilermakers are having a great basketball season! He is taking a class at church on wednesday nights called BOUNDERIES WITH KIDS-which he seems to really enjoy! I am coordinating the children's ministry on Wednesday nights and helping with the elementary age class or I would be taking the class with him!

I am constantly cleaning my house....and when I turn around.....its dirty again. It is never ending and often I feel like raming something sharp in my eye. I would love to have a moment to drink some coffee and read a magazine in a clean house!

We will sign Cass up for preschool for next year--she is going to go M,W,F 9-1 she even gets to take her lunch each day! We are just one year to Kindergarden folks and Jared being in preschool....FALL 2009 is what keeps me going! hehehehehehehehehehehehe

on a sad note:

If you know me at all you know my main vice is celeberity gossip. I love knowing what is going on in Hollywood.. I was sad to hear about Heath Ledger...

so this past week the temps here got in the single digits...and as my luck would have it...on the coldest day of the year, our heat goes out.
(insert me rolling my eyes)

we woke up to 5 degree temps on wednesday morning...and it was a cool 60 degrees in the house. adam and i knew something was up-i bundled the kids up in layers and made coffee while we waited for the heat guy to come...
i plugged in the one space heater we have and turned on the stove and cracked it open just a little...
Jared and I were snuggled on the couch with our big blanket when cassity comes prancing out in nothing but a t-shirt, a skirt, and knee socks. She insists to wear a dress these days. often we come home and cass "slips into something a bit more comfortable" ie. her sunday best! aaaaaaaaah the joys of having a daughter! she has a mind of her own!

needless to say we got our heat back up and running and we are all nice and warm in our little galema hut!

in other news-you can rest easy tonight...i got myself out of jury duty! I was told that I could get out of it by simply being a full time student....so! I AM OFF THE HOOK!

Well-this saturday we will celebrate miss cassity's 4th birthday! I cant believe my baby is 4! We will be having a hannah montanna birthday party-or should i say parties...
saturday morning we are having a PJ party with 2 of cassity's best friends, Lydia and Mia. We are going to wear our PJs and watch HANNAH MONTANNA and paint fingernails-not to mention the cupcakes!!! That afternoon we are having our family come in for yet another Hannah Montanna birthday-with cake and some yummie snacks!!
